James Finglas is the Managing Director of Digital Services at Viatel Technology Group, where he leads the organisation’s continued growth across cybersecurity, cloud, and Microsoft technologies. With a strong reputation for strategic leadership and customer‑focused innovation, James plays a key role in shaping Viatel’s digital strategy and strengthening its position as one of Ireland’s leading technology partners.
Prior to joining Viatel, James spent over 25 years as Managing Director of MJ Flood Technology, building a 50‑strong technical and sales team and transforming the company into a multimillion‑euro industry leader. His success in scaling the business ultimately led to its acquisition by Viatel in June 2024, a move that united two major Irish tech providers and expanded the group’s national capabilities. James now continues to apply his experience to support organisations on their journey toward secure, modern, and resilient digital environments.
