Ciarán Dack Named as M&A Leader as Viatel Technology Group Targets 2026 Expansion

Viatel Technology Group today announced the appointment of Ciarán Dack as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, underlining its ambitious plans and focus on strategic expansion for 2026.

Ciarán brings extensive experience in the technology sector, a field of intense M&A activity, developed over seven years with Version 1. During his tenure, Ciarán progressed from M&A Associate to M&A Senior Manager, in a period when Version 1 used its acquisition programme to not merely expand, but to develop specialist expertise and meet customer demands. Ciarán played a pivotal role in shaping and executing complex M&A transactions that drove substantial inorganic growth across national and international markets.

Prior to Version 1, Ciarán worked with BDO Ireland, honing deep expertise in corporate finance and advisory experience that will be invaluable as Viatel accelerates its acquisition agenda.
