ERS IT Solutions go Cloud with Viatel
Irish cloud and connectivity company Viatel have today announced a multi-year cloud deal with ERS IT Solutions, a leading provider of IT Support & Services in Ireland. ERS have been a long standing customer of Viatel and we are thrilled to see them join us on their journey to the cloud.
The deal will see Viatel deploy a world class software defined enterprise Cloud Storage-as-a-Service model to enable ERS access to fast, secure and scalable cloud storage technology on demand. The incumbent offering previously in place had ERS using the public cloud to manage and store their data, and did not provide the scalability or performance required for the highly intensive environments they managed. ERS is a leading Infrastructure and Software Development provider working with many bluechip organisations and this move to the Viatel Flexi-Cloud has enabled them to deploy their applications in a highly private, secure and encrypted environment which is stored in Viatel’s guaranteed Irish data center locations.
