Taoiseach Leo Varadkar recently joined Viatel Technology Group in our Blanchardstown offices to announce the creation of 50 new jobs as we expand our cybersecurity platform. During his visit, the Taoiseach commended Viatel Technology Group for cloud and digital transformation projects that have played a crucial role in keeping Ireland on track in the digital transition.

Examples of how Viatel has helped the Government and its agencies to improve services for citizens:
Access Leaving Cert results and appeals online: migrating the State Exams Commission to Viatel’s private cloud paved the way to digitise the marking, results and appeals process for the Leaving Certificate.
Apply for passports online: our digital transformation team is responsible for the software development behind the Department of Foreign Affairs’ Online Passport System which delivered over 1 million passports in 2022.
