How long have you worked with us? Since January 2017
Tell us a little bit about your role please
I lead the Digital Transformation consultancy services and software sales effort. This means I get to have lots of interesting conversations with prospects and clients about their business challenges, help them to develop a digital strategy and assist them to execute it. I work with great people in the consultancy, software sales and software operations teams with a healthy sprinkling of Viatel Technology Group managers too.
Give us the highlights tour of your career to date
A long time ago... I qualified as a Computer Engineer and worked for my family business in the Space Software industry for 14 years. I did an MBA in Madrid in 2004, spent a few years living in Qatar and returned to the software industry in 2012, selling custom solutions for TEKenable in Dublin. In 2017, I moved to ActionPoint, where I became head of software sales in 2018. In 2021 I was asked to take on the role of Head of Digital Transformation and have been double jobbing ever since! I love the teams and clients I get to work with and the Viatel journey has been full of colour (not just Magenta) since 2022!
What do you love most about working with Viatel?
Learning about what our customers are doing and being able to help them to achieve their goals.
