Regulatory Changes to Non-Geographic Numbers (NGNs)
On 1 January 2022 the 1850, 1890 and 076 number ranges will be withdrawn from use by ComReg, the Communications Regulator.  Any business using an 1850, 1890 or 076 number, needs to make a move to:
(i) 1800 (Freephone) 
(ii) 0818 (Standard Rate) 


As a result, demand for new 1800 and 0818 numbers is fierce! Numbers are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Most of those easy to remember options are already taken. The solution? Make sure your contact details are always obvious with a vanity number.
