Viatel Leeds connecting businesses, 14th June 2004

London, 14th June 2004 - Viatel, the pan-European provider of business communications services, has expanded its sales force with the opening of an office in Leeds to target mid-size businesses across the North. The opening comes weeks after Viatel announced it had secured $52.5 million in funding from a group of investors led by Morgan Stanley.

The office, located in the Round Foundry media business park is initially employing a sales force of nine to work with businesses across the North in helping them to secure better value from their communications. Viatel provides business communications services that help organisations of all sizes to securely access the internet, connect their people and places, manage their web applications and increase the security of their data.
