Viatel launches wires only MPLS VPN to meet untapped market opportunity

Indirect Channel can now take advantage of market demand for VPN's with Viatel's wires only service

Viatel, the pan-European communications company, has removed the restrictions on technology and connectivity options by adding a wires only MPLS VPN service to its portfolio. This will enable Service providers (SP), Value added resellers (VAR) and larger companies with skilled in-house IT departments to maintain control of VPN services.

Viatel offer Channel Partners total flexibility in the choice of VPN, supporting hybrid solutions with a mix of MPLS and IPSec technologies and across all access options (broadband, dial up, Leased lines and Ethernet). Global roaming for mobile workers is supported either via direct dial into the MPLS VPN or access via the internet over standard IPSec VPN.
