Established in 1991 we have operations in the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and Switzerland. Our assets include a $2.5 billion dollar pan European network, 21 co-location facilities and 48 points of presence in 21 key cities across Europe. In the UK Viatel has over 100 points of presence, approximately 450km of its own fibre and five highly secure data centres in Egham, Bracknell, Reading and London (2).

Viatel’s rapid growth and successful business strategy has led to significant financial investment in the company in recent years. Since 2004, funding of over $130m has been raised from Viatel’s investors, led by Morgan Stanley, demonstrating their commitment to the Viatel business and their support of the outlined strategy and network investment.
